Annette Kazmerski is an experienced employment law attorney and a litigator. She began her career in private practice at a business law firm in Santa Monica with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation. Early in her career, she spent a 2 year detour handling Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy cases (debtor side) and related litigation. In 2010, Ms. Kazmerski left private practice to manage litigation and employment matters for a series of companies with retail operations in both the online and brick and mortar space. Over the course of 10 years as in-house counsel, Ms. Kazmerski managed a wide variety of legal functions, including driving successful litigation strategies as well as providing advice and counsel on a wide variety of employment law matters. Her breadth of experience allows her to excel in crafting successful strategies and solutions in a wide variety of complex legal situations.
Ms. Kazmerski is originally from the New York City area and attended Harvard University before migrating west. After graduation, Ms. Kazmerski spent two years working in the banking industry in Chicago, before moving to Los Angeles to attend the UCLA School of Law. At UCLA, Ms. Kazmerski participated in Moot Court and was business editor for the Entertainment Law Journal.
