Julie Bachert is an Associate Attorney with the firm. Ms. Bachert has extensive experience in Law and Motion practice, and has acquired litigation experience in various fields since her admittance to the California State Bar, including personal injury, insurance defense, premises liability, and counseling as to the California Public Records Act. While in law school at Washington University in Saint Louis, Ms. Bachert received a Scholar in Law scholarship, and the Dean’s Public Service Award. Ms. Bachert was also a Founding member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team, a member of the Wiley Rutledge Intramural Moot Court, and a Committee Co-Chair for the Women’s Law Caucus. During her summers, Ms. Bachert served as a Judicial Intern for the Los Angeles Superior Court of California and a summer associate at one of Hawaii’s largest litigation firms.
In her third year of law school, Ms. Bachert was a visiting law student at UCLA School of Law. During this time, Ms. Bachert was a student practitioner at the UCLA Trademark Law Clinic, where she assisted clients with registering and maintaining their respective trademarks, including preparation of trademark applications and Office Action responses.

During this time, she was also a member of the Wiley Rutledge Intramural Moot Court, a Committee Co-Chair for the Woman’s Law Caucus, and a finalist in the 1L Client Interviewing and Counseling Competition. Ms. Bachert also brings to the firm two years’ experience in Law and Motion practice.
Ms. Bachert served as Judicial Intern for the Los Angeles Superior Court of California and as a visiting law student at the UCLA School of Law, where she prepared trademark applications, Office Action responses, and other legal documents to assist clients with registering and maintaining their respective trademarks.
